This is made for both the Leica D-Lux 4 and the Panasonic equivalent DMC LX3 (which costs hundreds less but doesn't have the red dot). It may be compatible with other models or brands as well which have that particular power input type. Note: this does not charge the battery on the D-Lux 4, just supplies power while uploading photos to the computer or while doing studio shooting. The former use is important since if the battery goes flat while uploading pics, the transfer may fail completely.
